In large saucepan with steamer rack at least 2 inches high, pour in equal amounts of water and cider vinegar to within a half inch of rack.Layer 1 to 2 dozen crabs on rack, sprinkling 1 tablespoons bay seasonings or crab boil over each layer. Cover; put a brick on the lid; bring to boil. Steam until crabs are bright red in color.
