Nutty Coffeecake Recipe

2 C. Sifted Flour
2 tsp. Baking Powder
tsp. Salt
C. Shortening
1 Egg
C. Sugar
1 C. Milk

1. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt
2. Cream shortening, egg and sugar.
3. Add dry ingredients alternating with milk.
4. Spread in a greased 9" pan or dish.

Nutty Topping:

C. Flour
C. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon
3 Tbsp. Soft Butter
3 Tbsp. Chopped Nuts

1. Combine all topping ingredients until crumbly, sprinkle on cake
2. Bake at 375 for 35-40 minutes. Test as for cake.
