C. Butter
1 C. Light Brown Sugar (packed)
1 Egg
C. Sifted Flour
1 tsp. Baking Powder
tsp. Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350

1. Melt butter.
2. Stir in brown sugar until well blended.
3. Cool.
4. Stir in egg.
5. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt, stir into wet mixture.
6. Then stir in vanilla.
7. Spread in a well greased 8" square pan.
8. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
9. Do not overbake. Cut into bars while still warm.
