4 qts cucumbers
4 cups vinegar
1 cup pure salt
3 qts water

For each quart jar:

2 heads dill
1 garlic clove
1 tsp dried red pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Wash cucumbers and cut in eighths. Cover with water and let stand overnight.

Sterilize glass jars. Place 1 dill, garlic and pepper in bottom of each jar. Pack cumber sticks in jars with a dill head on top. Heat vinegar, salt and water to boiling. Fill jars and seal.
