2 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
1 c. shortening
1 t. salt
2 eggs
2 t. soda
2 t. vanilla
6 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening, add vanilla, eggs and sour cream. Beat until fluffy. Sift together and add salt, soda, and flour. Roll into floured surface. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until bottom of cookie is brown.

Icing: 2 cups powdered sugar, 1 t. pure vanilla, 1 egg and 2/3 c. milk until creamy. Add 2 t. flour and 1 cup crico and beat until fluffy. Divide icing according to the color you want to use on cookies.

I got this recipe from a newspaper. It is easy to roll out and handle. I've never used the icing recipe.
