1 box brown sugar
3/4 cups sweet milk
1 tbsp vanilla
1 stick butter

Read Notes Before Making - Put sugar and milk on stove on medium high temperature. Stir constantly. Start cooking on medium high heat. When it starts to boil, put on medium high. Takes about 8 minutes. When it will harden in a little cold water, take off stove. Add vanilla and butter. Beat until thick enough to make it difficult to put in dish.

Be sure candy gets to a rolling boil with heat on medium. Then put on medium high and boil 7 to 8 minutes. From start to finish takes 1 hour. DO NOT double recipe.
