1/2 # butter
1/2 C brown sugar
2 T white sugar
1 egg yolk
2 1/4 sifted flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 C chopped nuts
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream butter and sugar; add egg yolk and vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients and blend well.

2. Form small balls, place on cookie sheet and mash with fork.

3. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
