1 pkg. chicken gizzards
1 large onion, diced
1-2 stalks of celery, diced
1 large potato
1 medium can mushrooms
1 medium can tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Boil chicken gizzards for 5 min. and drain with cold water (gizzards tend to be very salty). Sauté onion and celery for 5 min. until onion is translucent, add gizzards and tomato sauce and add a small amt. of water. When boiling add diced potato, lower heat and cook for approx. 1 hr. or until gizzards are soft enough for a knife to go through easily. Add mushrooms.
This can be served over mashed potatoes.
