38 light carmels
6 Tbls. evaporated milk
1 cup flour
1 cup oatmeal
¾ cup brown sugar
½ tsp soda
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup butter
½ cup chopped pecans
1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Melt carmels and milk over low heat, stirring to make creamy.

Combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, salt and butter until mixture is crumbly. Press half of the mixture into a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes.

Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts, then cover with carmel mixture. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Bake additional 15-20 minutes until browned. Cool slightly, then cut into bars while still warm.
