4 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp almond extract
1/2 cup sugar
2 1/2 cups milk, scalded
1/4 tsp salt
1-1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
1 tsp vanilla extract
10 inch pie shell
Nutmeg and ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.
Take a teaspoon of soft butter and rub on pie shell before filling.
Blend eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla, and almond extracts. Stir in coconut
Gradually stir in scalded milk. Mix well, pour into pie shell
Sprinkle with nutmeg and ginger
Bake 25-30 minutes.
Cool 15-30 minutes before refrigerating.
