2 cups flour
3 tsp. baking powder
tsp salt
cup shortening/margarine
2/3 cup of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450. Mix dry ingredients, cut in margarine. Add milk. Knead on lightly floured surface. Roll dough to inch thick. Cut biscuits with cutter, place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.

This was one of the things my mother would make for me when I was younger. I loved eating them with butter or jelly. Now I use them for biscuits and gravy, also.
