2 c butter (not margarine)

2 cup sugar

4 eggs

1 c half & half

2 tsp vanilla

8 c flour

4 tsp baking powder

1 tsp salt

2 tsp nutmeg

tsp cinnamon

2 quarts vegetable oil

Powdered sugar

Mix butter and sugar together.

Mix well with beater: eggs, half & half, vanilla, Add to sugar mixture.

Mix together flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon. Add to liquid mixture.

Roll out and cut into diamond shapes. Make a slit in the middle and draw one end through the slit.

Deep fry at 325 until lightly browned. Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
