32 caramels (unwrapped)
5 tbsp evaporated milk
1 cup flour
1 cup quick oatmeal
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp soda
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup melted butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels and evaporated milk in top of double boiler. Set aside to cool. In large bowl combine remaining ingredients except chocolate chips and pecans. Press half the crumble in bottom of 9x9 baking dish. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Remove from oven. Top with chocolate chips and pecans. Carefully spread caramel mixture on top. Cover with remaining crumb mixture. Bake for additional 20 minutes until golden brown. Refrigerate and chill completely 1-2 hours. Cut in bars. Recipe can be doubled and put in 9x13 pan.
