Turtle Brownies Recipe

1 14oz. pkg caramels
⅔ c evaporated milk
1 box german chocolate cake mix
c of softened butter
1 c nuts ( walnuts or pecans)
12 oz. semisweet chocolate morsels

Preheat oven to 350

Combine caramels and ⅓ cup of evaporated milk on top of a double boiler.
Stir until mixture is smooth.

Combine cake mix, remaining milk, and softened butter. Mix until mixture hold together.
Stir in nuts.

Press of the cake mixture in a greased 13"X9" pan and bake for 6 mnutes.
remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate morsels over the top.

Pour melted caramel evenly over everything.

Crumble remaining cake mix over caramel and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.

Cool and cut into bars.
