3 cups sugar
4 eggs
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
2/3 cup water
3 ½ cups flour
½ cup nuts
½ cup raisins
1 cup oil
1 ½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon nutmeg
2 cup applesauce
2 teaspoons baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all dry ingredients, then add liquids and applesauce to same bowl. Mix well. Add nuts and raisins.
Divide into three 8 ½ x 4 ½ x 3 inch loaf pans.
Bake at 350º degrees for 1 hour or until done.

This recipe may also be used to make banana or pumpkin bread by substituting 2 cups of bananas or pumpkin for the applesauce. (You can also use 6 or 7 of the smaller load pans).
