4 oz. German Sweet Chocolate squares
1 cups sifted cake flour
1 cup sugar
tsp. soda
tsp baking powder
tsp salt
⅓ cup butter
cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate over low heat and cool. sift all dry ingredients together. Stir butter to soften, add dry ingredients, half of buttermilk and vanilla. Mix to dampen flour, then beat for 2 minutes at medium speed. Add melted chocolate, and remaining buttermilk. Beat 1 minute. Bake in a 9" square pan lined with wax paper at 350 for 40 minutes
