Pumpkin Passion Dessert Recipe

12 tbsp (1 1/2 sticks) butter
1 1/2 cups flour

Layer 1:
8 oz softened cream cheese
1 cup confectioners sugar
1/2 of 12 oz Cool Whip

Layer 2:
2 small pkg instant vanilla pudding
1 small can pumpkin
1 cup milk

1/2 of 12 oz Cool Whip
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice or 1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Cut butter and flour with pastry cutter until crumbly. Press into 9x13 pan and bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Mix cream cheese, confectioners sugar, and 1/2 of the Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust.

Mix pudding, pumpkin, and milk. Spread on top of first layer.

Stir spices into remaining 1/2 of the Cool Whip and spread on top. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
