1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into ½" cubes
6 slices bacon, chopped
1 medium onion, chopped
1½ tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 cans (15½ oz. each) great northern beans, rinsed and drained
1 can (14½ oz.) chicken broth
2 cans (4 oz. each) chopped green chilies
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. dried oregano
½ tsp. pepper
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1 cup sour cream
½ cup whipping cream or half and half

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucepan, saute' chicken, bacon, onion and garlic powder in oil until chicken is no longer pink. Add beans, broth, chilies and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Remove from the heat; stir in sour cream and whipping cream. Serve immediately.
