3/4 bushel tomatoes
3 cups diced celery
4 large onions diced
3 cups flour
2 cups sugar
2/3 cup salt
4 1/2 tsp black pepper
1/3 cup basil
1 tbsp granulated garlic
1 cup (2 sticks) butter

Directions:
Directions:
Juice tomatoes and set aside. Blend celery and onions and stir in flour. Add mixture to tomato juice and bring to a boil. Add remaining seasonings and butter and cook until thick stirring constantly. Pour into 1 quart canning jars. Process for 30 minutes using the hot water bath method. Makes about 14 quarts.
