1 T. oil
1 onion, diced
2 8- ounce cans tomato sauce
3 oz. water
3 T. sugar
2 T. honey
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 lb. pastrami, sliced ( deli slices)

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium sized pot, heat the oil. Add the onions and sauté until soft. Add the tomato sauce, water, sugar, honey and garlic. Bring to a boil. Stir to combine. Then, add the pastrami slices and reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes.

Serve this in several ways; over a scoop of mashed potatoes, spaghetti squash or potato kugel in a glass trifle cup!
