2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder good quality
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
Sift together and set aside

1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk or sour milk (1 cup milk + 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice)
1 cup boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Blend ingredients and fold in dry ingredients and mix well at low speed of mixer until smooth. Add 1 cup of boiled water quickly and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 10x13" pan.

Bake 350 for 45 minutes. Watch baking time sometimes it takes less time and ends tend to burn easily.

Serve with French Delight Frosting (see recipe, page 109) or another buttercream frosting.
