2 lb stewing beef (cut into cubes)
2 tbsp. oil
2 medium onions sliced
1 garlic clove minced OR
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp. paprika
2 tsp salt
2 3/4 c water
1/3 c 57 sauce
3 tbsp. flour
1/3 c water
hot buttered noodles

In a Dutch oven or skillet pan brown meat well in oil. Remove meat. Add onions and garlic and cook until onions are tender-crisp. Add paprika, salt and brown meat and cook until onions are tender. Add water and 57 sauce. Cover, simmer 1/1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is tender. Combine flour and water and slowly stir flour mixture into sauce and stir and cook over medium heat until thickened and smooth. Serve over hot noodles.
