Tumeric Paste:
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. Tumeric

Golden Milk:
2 c. coconut milk
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. - 1 T. tumeric paste
1 tsp. chopped ginger
4-6 black pepper corns
1 pinch of Stevia

Garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.

In a small saucepan, combine water and tumeric; simmer over gentle heat 7-10 minutes, stirring constantly; add more water if needed.
Put the paste into a glass container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Golden Milk:
Combine all ingredients in a saucepan; stir to mix; cover; simmer on low heat for 10 minutes; stirring occasionally.
Strain mixture through a fine mesh strainer to get rid of the pepper corns and the ginger.
Pour liquid in a mug (usually makes about 2 c.); garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
