Ingredients:
3 beaten eggs
c. of sugar
c. of melted butter
1 c. of flour (use smaller amount of flour (1⅓ c.) for a thinner cookie)
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. anise
powdered sugar for after the cookies have cooled.

Directions:
Directions:
You will need a Pizzelle Iron Maker for these cookies (a worthy, small investment found on Amazon).
Add and beat ingredients in the order listed. Spoon out a small ball, (realize they will expand when cooking), and drop the dollop of uncooked mix onto each cookie spot on the pre-heated Pizzelle Iron Maker. Close the lid and clip the handle until steam stops (approx. 60 seconds). Use a fork to remove the cookies and put them on a cookie cooling rack. Sprinkle powdered sugar on each cookie after they cook.
