3-4 c. sliced fresh pears
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick of butter
3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325 degrees. Mix pears with 1/2 c. sugar, let stand. Put butter in a 2 qt. baking dish, put in oven until melted. Combine dry ingredients. Whisk milk & eggs. Add dry ingredients. Pour over butter. Spoon pears over the batter. Bake 50-60 mins. or until browned & pears are tender. If over browning & pears are not tender, cover with foil. Can add 1 c. of fresh blueberries to the pears.
