1 cup shortening
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup peanut butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar - firmly packed
2 eggs well beaten
1 tbsp milk
2 cups sifted flour
1/2 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine shortening, salt and peanut butter and mix well. Gradually add sugar and brown sugar. Cream thoroughly after each addition. Add eggs and milk. Mix well. Sift together flour and soda. Blend with mixer. Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls into greased baking sheet or roll the dough into balls 3/4 to 1 inch place on baking sheet press lightly with fork. Bake at 325º for 15 to 20 minutes.
