Ingredients:  
Combine 2 Cups peeled, sliced peaches w/ 3/4 cup sugar,
let stand 2 hours
Sift together: 3/4 cup flour
pinch of salt
2 tsp baking powder & mix with
1 cup sugar
Stir in 1/2 cup milk &
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1 stick butter (melt in baking dish)
Whipped Cream or Vanilla Ice Cream

Preheat oven to 350º (if using a glass dish, 325º)

Melt butter in baking dish. Pour batter over melted butter. DO NOT STIR.

Spoon peaches over batter and bake for 50 to 55 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
