3 cups crushed crackers Nabisco Chicken in a Biscuit or Keebler Club House Crackers
(Originally Nabisco Waverly Wafers were used but they are no longer available.)
2 sticks of butter
2 large packages of frozen Broccoli, chopped/cut
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 cups milk
2 glass jars of Old English Sharp Cheddar Cheese spread

Directions:
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 350º F.
2. Melt 1 stick of butter and mix with crushed wafers/crackers.
3. Reserving ½ cup of crumb mix, place remainder in the bottom of a casserole dish.
4. Make a white sauce by melting 1 stick of butter/oleo in a saucepan;
5. Add 6 Tablespoons flour and then gradually add 3 cups of milk, stirring constantly.
6. Cook until thickened and then add the 2 glass jar contents of Old English Sharp Cheddar Cheese.
7. Add frozen broccoli to white sauce, mix well.
8. Now place broccoli mixture on top of crumbs in casserole dish.
9. Sprinkle casserole dish with remaining crumbs.
10. Bake for 30 minutes.
