1-2 pound stew meat
1 Tablespoon sugar
4-6 potatoes, cubed
4 carrots, chopped
3-4 stalks celery, cut into small pieces
2 medium onions, chopped
1 green, red or yellow pepper, chopped (optional)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 - 1 teaspoon pepper
1 cup tomato juice
3 Tablespoons Minute Tapioca

ADD AFTER STEW IS DONE:
1-2 cups frozen green peas

Directions:
Directions:
1. Pre-heat oven to 200ºF.
2. Place stew meat in casserole dish and sprinkle sugar over meat.
3. Add all other ingredients EXCEPT frozen peas.
4. Stir together and cover with lid or foil.
5. Bake for five (5) hours.
6. Remove from oven and stir in frozen peas. Recover, and allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving.

DELICIOUS!

Great served with bread/rolls, cottage cheese or salad.
