3/4 c shortening (half butter)
1 c sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 cup OJ or (1/3 c concentrate and the rest h2o to make 1/2 cup)

Directions:
Put raisins in boiling H2O, let stand, then drain. Mix all ingredients as usual, fold in raisins - bake 325º for barely 10 min.
Frost with powdered sugar, OJ concentrate and cream. The recipe has no amounts for the frosting.
