1 c. margarine, softened
1/2 tsp. salt
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1-1/2 c. semisweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c. pecans, walnuts or macadamia nuts, finely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

In large bowl, blend together margarine, salt and vanilla.
Beat in sugar with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.
Stir in flour and chocolate pieces.
Spread dough evenly in ungreased 10"x15" pan; sprinkle with nuts.
Bake in 350º oven for 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and turn onto wire rack to cool.
When cool, break into irregular pieces.
