Layer 1:
1 c. graham cracker crumbs or ground nuts
1/2 c. margarine, melted

Layer 2:
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 container (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Layer 3:
2 packages (3 oz. each) vanilla instant pudding mix
3 c. milk

Layer 4:
1 container (8 oz.) Cool Whip
chopped nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Bake in 9"x13" baking dish.

Layer 1:
Mix together graham cracker crumbs and melted margarine; mix well; spread in bottom of 9"x13" baking dish.
Bake in 350º oven for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool.

Layer 2:
In mixer bowl, cream together cream cheese and powdered sugar.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Spread mixture over Layer 1.

Layer 3:
In mixer bowl, combine instant pudding mix and milk; mix at low speed until mixture thickens slightly.
Spread mixture over Layer 2.

Layer 4:
Spread Cool Whip over Layer 3.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired.
Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours before serving.
