2 Eggs
2 C. Flour
1 Can (20oz) Crushed Pineapple
¼ tsp. Salt
2 C. Sugar
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 tsp. Baking Powder
½ C. Nuts (optional)

1. Slightly cream eggs and sugar.
2. Mix all other ingredients into the egg mixture.
3. Pour into an ungreased 13"x9" pan.
4. Bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes in preheated oven.

Frost with:

8 oz. Cream Cheese (softened)
½ Stick Butter (at room temperature)
½ C. Chopped Nuts
¼ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Vanilla
1¾ C. Powdered Sugar

Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl until smooth. Spread on slightly warm cake.

Alternate Frosting:

½ Stick Butter
¾ C. White Sugar
½ C. Evaporated Milk
½ C. Coconut
Mix together in saucepan, boil for 2 minutes, pour over cooled cake.

When Aunt Runa was living, Alice always made this cake for her for reunions, she loved it. The alternative frosting recipe was used.
