1 c. milk
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. powder cocoa
4 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts, chopped (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 9"x9" baking pan.

In a pan, mix milk, cocoa and sugar; heat until sugar is dissolved; cook until mixtures reached the soft ball stage on a candy thermometer.
Add butter, vanilla and walnuts; mix well.
Remove from heat.
Pour mixture into a buttered 9"x9" baking pan.
Allow fudge to cool completely.
Before serving, cut cooled fudge into squares.
