Apple Dapple:
2 eggs
1 c. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. chopped apples
1/2 c. nuts
2 c. sugar
3 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla

Icing:
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. margarine
1/4 c. milk
approximately 2 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease an 8"x8" baking pan.

Apple Dapple:
Cream eggs, sugar and oil.
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl; add to creamed mixture.
Stir in apples, nut and vanilla; mix well.
Pour batter into greased 8"x8" baking pan.
Bake in 350º oven for 45 minutes or until done.

Icing:
In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar; boil 1-1/2 minutes.
Remove from heat; add milk; mix well.
Stir in powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached.
Spread icing over cooled Apple Dapple.

Cut into bars. Serve.
