Ingredients: 1 lb. ground chuck Large jar of pasta sauce 1 pkg. (16 oz.) Lasagna noodles Sm cottage cheese 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 1 med egg ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:Brown meat in 3-quart saucepan; drain. Add sauce and simmer. Cook pasta for 10 minutes. Heat oven at 350ºF Mix cottage cheese and egg. Spread about 2 cups meat sauce on bottom of 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking pan. (Making sure entire pan is covered with sauce) Arrange 5 pasta pieces lengthwise over sauce, overlapping edges. Spread the cottage cheese with egg over pasta. Arrange 5 more pasta pieces over mixture. Spread mozzarella cheese over pasta. Arrange 5 more pasta pieces over cheese. Pour remaining pasta sauce over noodles. Sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil. Bake 30 minutes or until hot & bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. |
