4 eggs, separated, keep one egg white separate
1 can Eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
½ cup Key Lime juice
2 to 3 teaspoons grated lime rind
½ teaspoon cream of tartar
⅓ cup sugar
1 9 inch pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks, stir in milk, juice, rind and a few drops of green food color if desired. In a small bowl, stiffly beat one egg white. Fold into milk mix and turn into pie crust. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy gradually add sugar, beating until stiff but not dry. Spread on top of pie, sealing to edge.
Bake 15 minutes or until brown at 350 degrees.
