Ingredients:
Crust:
1 ¼-1 ½ Cups Self-rising flour
2 tbsp. Crisco
½ cup milk

Filling:
1 quart strawberries
¾ cup sugar
1 tbsp. corn starch
1 tsp. lemon

Directions:
Directions:
Crust: Mix and roll out into crust to fit your bowl or pan. Make it big enough so when you put the berries in it will lap over the top to form the top crust.

Filling: Mix strawberries, corn starch, lemon and sugar. If using fresh berries you need to crush them or cut them up. They will take the sugar better.
Pour into crust. Dot with butter or margarine, about 1/8 stick.
Cover with remaining crust. Dot top of crust with butter, about 1/8 stick. Sprinkle generously with sugar. Bake until brown and crust is cooked at 350° about 30-45 minutes
