1/3 c + 1 tbsp water
3/4 c sugar
juice of 2 lemons

Other ingredients
8 large egg yolk
finely grated rind of 1 lemon
1 c whipping cream
Sliced strawberries to decorate

Combine all ingredients in pan and bring to a gentle boil.
In double boiler, combine egg yolks, the syrup and grated lemon peel. Using wire whisk, stir mixture until it thickens and forms a "ribbon" when it falls from whisk. Leave to cool completely.
Whip cream until soft peaks form. Reserve a little cream to decorate with. Fold the rest into cold egg, syrup mixture. Pour mixture into individual glasses and refrigerate 2 hours. Before serving, pipe on reserved cream and decorate with strawberries
