1 Can Fruit Cocktail (drained)
1 C. Halved Grapes (or small grapes)
2 Apples (cored & chopped)
2 Bananas (sliced)
1 Jar Maraschino Cherries (drained, reserve 6-8 whole cherries)
2 Oranges ( peeled and separated into sections & cut into bites)
½ C, Chopped Walnuts
6-8 Walnut Halves
2 Jars Marshmallow Creme
1 bag Sweet Flaked Coconut

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine all fruit and fruit cocktail into a large bowl, including cherries and chopped walnuts.
2. Add one jar of marshmallow creme mixing it into the fruit.
3. Place combined fruit mixture into clear glass dish leaving plenty of room for the topping.
4. Gently spread remaining jar of marshmallow creme on top of fruit mixture covering entirely.
(A damp metal spoon works well.)
5. Top with a layer of flaked coconut.
6. Arranged reserved cherries and nuts on top in a lovely pattern.

Mom created this salad to take to a band concert banquet for Deb when she was in High School. It was so pretty no one wanted to take the first serving! It became a special dish she made every Christmas from then on! It is deliciously sweet, more dessert than salad!
