1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup butter
½ tsp coconut flavor
½ tsp butter flavor
2 Tbsp butter milk
1 cup white sugar
2 cups self rising flour
2½ cups uncooked Oats
Optional
1 bag chocolate chips or 1 cup raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Cream together brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Add in butter, flavors, buttermilk and white sugar. Mix well
Add in remaining dry ingredients.
Optional: add chocolate chips or raisins at this point.
Place by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet and bake 8-10 minutes or until golden.

June 22, 1974. These cookie with chocolate chips were my favorite. Love it when there were some in the cookie jar.
