Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 lbs butter
6 cups sugar
10 cups flour
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Cream butter and sugar.
Add eggs, flour and vanilla.
Work into a smooth dough.
Roll into 2' logs and chill.
Slice thin and bake 8-10 minutes or until golden.

Dated February 21, 1974. I remember her keeping the rolls in the freezer. She often had fresh ones in the cookie jar!
