10 dried Chile California Peppers (El Guapo Brand)
5 dried Chile de Arbol Peppers (El Guapo Brand)
1 clove garlic
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup of water (this water will be used to boil the chiles)

Directions:
Wash both types of chile. Cut the tops off the chile and dump the seeds out. Place both types of chile in a saucepan; add 10 cups of water. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to medium and let the chiles get soft, about 15 minutes.

Place garlic, chiles, water, and salt in food processor or blender. Blend on high until smooth.

If you wish, pour mixture through a strainer to remove the seeds. Dip the fried tortillas in the sauce as you assemble the enchiladas. Use this in place of canned enchilada sauce, it's so much better!
