2 c flour
1 c sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/4 c margarine
3/4 c orange juice
1 tbsp gated orange rind
1 egg, well beaten
1/2 c chopped nuts
2 c cranberries

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients. Cut in margarine to resemble coarse corn meal. Add juice and rind to egg. Pour over dry ingredients and mix only to dampen. Carefully fold in nuts and cranberries. Spoon into greased loaf pan (9X5X3) Spread corners and edges slightly higher. Bake at 350º 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from pan. Store overnight for easy slicing.
