1 1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c brown sugar
1 c light cream
3 tbsp butter
2 c pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
In heavy 3 qt. pan stir together sugars and cream, boil over medium heat, stir constantly. Cook to soft ball, 234º, (takes about 20 min or more) Stir only as needed to prevent sticking. Remove from heat, add butter, but do not stir. Let stand with thermometer in pan, cool to 150º. Stir in pecans, beat 2 or 3 minutes drop on sheet lined with wax paper.
If candy becomes too stiff to drop easily, add a few drops of hot water or cream
