Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3-4 lb. Fresh Green Beans (cleaned)
1 Pint Ham Broth
⅔ C. Small Diced Ham Bits
½ C. Chopped Onion
1-2 Raw Potatoes diced
Salt & Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place cleaned beans in a large pot.
2. Cover beans with water, add broth, ham, onion, potatoes and seasoning.
3. Cook on medium heat about two hours or until tender.

(When I bake a ham I reserve the broth and place it in quart size ziplock freezer bags filled just over half full.) The leftover ham I dice into very small bits and place in snack size bags, then in a freezer bag. When I need the broth and ham for recipes I just remove what I need. Quick, easy and delicious!
