Ingredients:
2 pkg. Oreo Cookies
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Directions:
Directions:
Set out ice cream and Cool Whip to soften. Crush 1 package of Oreos in a blender or food processor until crumbs are fine. (I use a large Ziploc back and beat cookies with a rolling pin) Spread cookie crumbs evenly in a 13x9 pan that is lightly sprayed with cooking spray or lined with wax paper. Reserve a few cookie crumbs for topping, about 1 cup. In large bowl, fold Cool Whip into softened ice cream. Put the 2nd package of Oreos in a Ziploc bag and chop to desired chunks. (I leave mine chunky size). Fold cookie chunks into ice cream mixture. Pour ice cream mixture over the cookie crumbs in pan and sprinkle reserved cookie crumbs on top and freeze until ready to serve. Freeze at least 4 hours before serving. Dace, my oldest grandson used to love making this dessert with me when he was a young child. Love those memories!!! Love that Dace!!!
