Directions:
Stir together yeast, 1/2c. flour and water in large bowl and let activate for 10minutes. Stir in melted butter, egg, sugar and salt. Add the remaining flour and knead with a dough hook, or by hand until smooth and elastic. Form into a ball lightly oiled and cover for about 2hours. Form dough into a thick rope and cut into 8-14 pieces. Keep covered as you work with one piece at a time. Shape into round bun, folding edges in. Could also roll out thick and cut with a large round cup or cookie cutter. Place on greased or parchment lined cooking sheet. Let rise until double (about 1 hour). Heat oven to 375º. When buns have risen, whisk egg and milk together and lightly brush tops of each bun without collapsing the dough. Immediately sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake in oven for 15-17minutes.
