1 stick butter or margarine
1 c flour
8 c. water
2 c ground beef
1 c onion, chopped
1 c carrots, chopped
1 c celery, chopped
2 c frozen mixed vegetables
2 cans (14.5oz) diced tomatoes
1 tbsp. Accent
2 tbsp. beef base or granules
1 tsp pepper
Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter or margarine in large pan and whip in flour to make a smooth base. Stir in water. Saute ground beef. Drain and add to soup. Add all other ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and cook until vegetables are done. May be frozen for later use.

* I always end up adding more beef granules.
