500 g sausage or sausage meat
600 g (about 6 cups) hash brown potatoes (frozen shredded works well)
2 small onions, chopped
olive oil for frying
Salt & pepper to taste
6 eggs
125 ml grated Parmesan cheese
Directions:
Directions:
Break sausage into small pieces, fry and drain fat.
Fry onions and hash browns (Can use the sausage fat or olive oil depending on taste and how much sausage fat you have.)
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Mix sausage and fried potatoes in a bowl.
Whip eggs with Parmesan cheese and add to sausage/potato mixture. Stir to blend.
Place in oiled baking dish and bake at 175 C for 40 minutes or until golden on top.
Spread on dehydrator trays and dry at 135 C until very dry.

To prepare, cover with water about 12 mm above dry mixture and bring to a boil.
Keep warm and let sit for a few minutes before chowing down
